On a bicycle tour with my brother, we stopped in for the night. They had kept room as they promised ,even without a deposit.After easy sign in ,payed in cash,we were shown our room. What a cool place ! Quiet ,old and a nice view of the flowers on mountains. We had a patio table outside our room and cooked a nice dinner including fresh chives growing in a nearby pot. The staff was very friendly and helpful,yet gave us the quiet and space we needed.

A 2.5 hour getaway from Los angeles turn out to be a wonderful experience....it's a very quiet & secluded place, plenty of things to do including Carrizo plain national monument which is 21 miles away, perfect little getaway from the city!!!!!!!
